      Vertical Landcapes,  botanically toned cyanotypes of rock face forms, fissures and coastal lichens
      Fenweh - A longing for distant places - Toned Cyanotype Print.
This print is part of a collection created as a result of a four month residency with the National Libraries of Scotland and the Scottish Ornithological Club.

      The Point of the storm - Multi-layered Cyanotype print, bleached, toned and hand coloured with Himalayan Honeysuckle and Rusty Nail ink. The point of the storm is a collage of detailed landscape and landmark sections of my photographs with hand cut stencils that I have overlaid on UV sensitive paper using several exposures.The colours are a result of exposed cyanotype,and natural handmade inks.
      Receptors - Cyanotype print toned with green tea and second cyanotype layer, left blue.Cyanotype images are from my photographs and handout stencils of local flora and fauna. 24 cm x 24 cm
      The Cairn on top of the hill - Multi toned Cyanotype print on paper.This print is created using the early cameraless photographic medium of Cyanotype using two Iron based solutions that are brushed onto paper crafting a light sensitive medium for printing.I have used my hand cut stencils and details from my photographs taken on walks up Beinn Ruadh ,Inverchapel to print the composition.Using a combination of bleaching and toning during each exposure reveals several layers of colours from deep dark blue to gull grey.
      Sea Bones
      Wormcast - Multi-layered Cyanotype print, bleached, toned and hand coloured with Himalayan Honeysuckle ,Red Cabbage and Rusty Nail ink. The cyanotype print is a result of overlayering my hand cut stencils on UV sensitive paper .This print has had several exposures,bleaching and toning with tea and natural inks from plant pigment growing on site .This artwork is inspired by my observations and research into the social geography of a four mile stretch of coastline boarded by forestry and ancient townships.Innellan to Ardyne on the South Cowal Peninsula.
